  • On June 23, the PA Prosperity Coalition was invited to discuss our report findings during a Lancaster Chamber breakfast meeting. (See Photos.) Speaking on behalf of the coalition was Dr. Michael Young, the primary report author. Dr. Young shared the podium with Ron Bailey, the executive director of Renew PA, who discussed the findings of the competing Brookings Report. The Lancaster Debate has been repeatedly broadcast on cable channels statewide by the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN). Also, more than 45 Forward to Prosperity reports were distributed to attendees during this event.

    Dr. Michael Young begins his presentation highlighting the coalition's nine recommendations for growing Pennsylvania's economy.

    The second speaker, Ron Bailey, executive director of Renew PA, elaborates on the findings of the Brookings Report, which our coaltion's report challenges.

    A crowd of nearly 100 people attended this "Wake-up to the Issue" breakfast meeting graciously sponsored by the Lancaster Chamber.
